K,since i cant explain what i am feeling,i'll show what i found on the net.

37 percent of respondents said that they will spend close to $200, while 20 percent said they would spend as low as $100 to as high as $300. If that isn't shocking your wallet enough, 7 percent said that they will spend $400, and 13 percent stated that they will spend over $500.
So,i'm already in the 20%. Okay now i show you why we dress up for prom~

So, why do girls spend so much on their prom dresses? In certain cases, it is the fact that they feel as if it is a beauty contest socially. No one wants to show up with the simplest or ugliest dress, and so more and more girls are choosing designer labels and elaborate fabrics as if they are on their way to the academy awards.
Another reason is because many high school ladies really do feel as if it is their Oscar night. Too old for dress up and too young for their wedding day, the prom is the time where buil- up princess fantasies come out to play.
Every girl wants to feel like royalty on her prom night, and that sometimes comes with a hefty price tag!
